Volunteering with Us

Nambucca Valley Christian Community School values and recognises that volunteers enhance the learning experiences of our students and strengthens School and community partnerships. Volunteering is an opportunity to model and promote the value of developing positive relationships as caring and contributing citizens within our community.

The School welcomes parents, carers and people from the broader community as volunteers to support the life of the School in the following activities:

• Reading with students
• Helping in regular classes on a weekly and fortnightly basis
• Assisting with one-off special events such as excursions

All volunteers are required to hold a current NSW Working With Children Check and complete a 45-minute Child Protection training prior to beginning volunteer work.
